EA-PSBE 11000-40 3U Programmable Bidirectional DC Power Supply
The EA-PSBE 11000-40 3U is a high-performance programmable bidirectional DC power supply from the EA-PSBE 10000 series, designed for two-quadrant operation as both a power source and a regenerative electronic load. With a wide autoranging output, it delivers 0-1000V, 0-40A, and up to 15000W of power, achieving up to 95.5% efficiency in source and sink modes. The device features active Power Factor Correction (PFC) >0.99, accepts 3-phase AC inputs from 208V to 480V (±10%), and includes galvanically isolated USB, Ethernet, and analog interfaces. It offers exceptional performance with ≤300 mV RMS ripple (300 kHz BW) and ≤1600 mV peak-to-peak noise (20 MHz BW). Load regulation is ≤0.05% FS for CV and ≤0.1% FS for CC, with voltage accuracy ≤0.05% FS and current accuracy ≤0.1% FS. Protection features include adjustable OVP, OCP, OPP, and OTP. The PSBE 11000-40 supports master-slave parallel operation of up to 64 units for scalable power systems up to 1920 kW. It is ideal for battery testing, battery simulation, fuel cell testing, on-board charger testing, and energy recovery applications, reducing energy costs and heat generation through regenerative grid feeding.
