EA-ELR 10500-10 2U 1500W Programmable Electronic DC Load with Energy Recovery

The EA-ELR 10500-10 2U (ELR 10500-10 2U), from EA Elektro-Automatik’s ELR 10000 2U series, is an Industrial 2U Electronic Load for lab/industrial precision testing. It recovers DC energy at ≤95% efficiency, feeding it back to mains to cut waste. As a programmable DC load, it offers 0-500V adjustable DC (High-Voltage 0-500V DC Load), 0-10A variable DC (0-10A Variable Current DC Load), and 0-1500W power (1200W derated at 110-127V AC). It supports CV/CC/CP/CR modes, ideal for Dynamic Load Test Electronic Load tasks like power supply validation.

As a Wide AC Input 100-264V DC Load, it works with 110-127V/208-240V ±10% AC (45-65Hz) and has Active PFC (PF~0.99, leakage <3.5mA) for grid compatibility. It’s a Temperature-Controlled Fan DC Load: front-to-rear cooling with auto-adjusted fan speed (min speed idle), shutting down if cooling block >80°C (160°F) to protect components.

It’s a Remote Sensing Electronic Load (compensates ≤5% nominal voltage drops via included plugs) for accurate source-side measurement. For scalability, it supports Parallel Operation DC Load: up to 64 ELR 10000 2U units via Master-Slave/Share buses, forming a system with total power up to 192kW (Share bus balances voltage dynamically).

Control includes a 5-inch TFT touchscreen + 2 rotary knobs, plus Panel Lock Anti-Misuse DC Load (HMI/limit locking with optional PIN). Remote control uses isolated USB (comm/firmware), Ethernet (100 MBit, SCPI/ModBus RTU), 15-pole D-Sub analog (0-5V/0-10V). It’s compatible with EA Power Control Software DC Load (free Windows software, optional licensed features).

Protections: OVP (0-110% nominal V), OCP (0-110% nominal I), OPP (0-110% nominal P), OT, PF, SF. It complies with EN 61010-1, UL 61010-1, EMC Class B, operates at 0-50°C (32-122°F) up to 2000m. Dimensions: 19”×2U×462mm (min depth 559mm) for 19” rack mounting.
