EA-PUL 10360-480 6U WC Programmable Regenerative DC Electronic Load
The EA-PUL 10360-480 6U WC is a high-power, 60 kW programmable electronic DC load unit with integrated energy recovery, offered in a water-cooled (WC) configuration. As part of the EA-PUL 10000 series, it operates as a bidirectional DC load, consuming DC power from a device under test (DUT) and regenerating it back into the AC grid with exceptional efficiency up to 95.8%. This significantly reduces operational costs and heat dissipation compared to traditional resistive loads. It features a wide autoranging DC input capable of 0 - 360 V and 0 - 480 A, delivering a full 60 kW across a broad operating range (0.025 Ω - 45 Ω). The unit accepts a three-phase AC input (380 V - 480 V ±10%) with active Power Factor Correction (typical 0.99). Designed for scalability, it includes a galvanically isolated Master-Slave bus and Share-Bus for seamless parallel operation of up to 64 units, enabling systems up to 3840 kW. It is equipped with standard interfaces (USB, Ethernet, Analog) and supports numerous optional industrial communication protocols (CANopen, Modbus, Profinet, EtherCAT, etc.). The integrated water cooling option ensures efficient thermal management in high-density or noise-sensitive installations. This load is ideal for demanding applications such as high-power battery testing, fuel cell characterization, on-board charger (OBC) validation, and battery recycling processes.
