Cast Resin Transformer

The Cast Resin Transformer (Epoxy Casting Transformer) is a dry type, oil free power transformer engineered for safe, stable, and maintenance free indoor distribution. Using high insulation epoxy resin casting around high quality copper windings, it forms a solid insulating layer with strong resistance to electric arcs, moisture, dust, and short circuit stress—making it ideal for harsh or high fire protection environments. The core adopts cold rolled silicon steel sheets for stronger magnetic permeability and lower loss, supporting energy saving operation with high reliability. Typical capacity covers 30–16000 kVA, designed for 10 kV and 35 kV class systems; common HV options can include 6 kV/6.3 kV/10 kV/10.5 kV/11 kV, with LV commonly 0.4 kV (customizable). Voltage regulation can be configured as off circuit tapping (no excitation) or on load voltage regulation, with typical tapping ranges such as ±5%, ±2×2.5% or ±4×2.5%. Available for 50/60 Hz and with connection groups such as Dyn11, Yyn0 or project specific requirements, it is widely used in industrial facilities, indoor power distribution rooms, medical equipment sites, and new energy applications.
