EA-PUL 11000-160 6U WC Programmable Electronic DC Load with Energy Recovery
The EA-PUL 11000-160 6U WC is a high-performance, water-cooled, programmable electronic DC load unit featuring bidirectional operation and regenerative energy recovery. Capable of handling up to 60 kW of power, it offers a wide DC input range of 0-1000 V and 0-160 A, making it an ideal solution for testing high-voltage components, power supplies, and energy systems. Its standout feature is the active energy recovery system, which feeds up to 96.5% of the consumed DC energy back into the AC grid with high efficiency, significantly reducing operational costs and heat dissipation. The unit operates with a flexible autoranging constant power characteristic, allowing full 60 kW power delivery across a broad voltage and current spectrum. It supports multiple regulation modes including constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP), and constant resistance (CR) with fast crossover. Designed for scalability, it includes a galvanically isolated Master-Slave bus and Share-Bus for seamless parallel operation of up to 64 units, enabling system power expansion up to 3840 kW. Standard interfaces include USB, Ethernet, and an isolated analog DB15 port, with optional industrial communication modules (CAN, CANopen, Profibus, EtherCAT, Profinet, Modbus) available. Compliant with major safety and EMC standards (EN/IEC/UL 61010-1, EN 55011 Class A), it is built in a robust 6U 19-inch rack enclosure with IP20 protection and is equipped for forced air or optional water cooling (WC version).
