EA-PUL 10920-250 6U WC Programmable Electronic DC Load with Energy Recovery
The EA-PUL 10920-250 6U WC is a high-power, bidirectional, and regenerative electronic DC load unit designed for demanding test applications. As part of the EA-PUL 10000 6U series, this 60 kW model features an autoranging constant power input stage, accepting a wide DC input range of 0-920 V and 0-250 A, and delivering a power range of 0-60000 W. Its defining feature is energy recovery, feeding up to 96.5% of the absorbed DC power back into the AC grid with high efficiency, significantly reducing operating costs and thermal load. The unit supports CV, CC, CP, and CR regulation modes with fast crossover and high precision via 16-bit ADCs/DACs. Equipped with a galvanically isolated Master-Slave bus and Share-Bus, it can be seamlessly paralleled with up to 63 other units (from 5 kW upwards) to create systems up to 3840 kW. The water-cooling (WC) option ensures efficient thermal management in high-density or high-ambient temperature installations. Standard interfaces include USB, Ethernet, and an analog DB15 port, with optional industrial communication modules (CAN, Profinet, EtherCAT, etc.) available. It is ideal for applications such as high-power battery testing, fuel cell characterization, on-board charger evaluation, and battery recycling.
