The EA-PSBE 10360-80 3U is a high-performance programmable bidirectional DC power supply from the EA Elektro Automatik PSBE 10000 Series, integrating the functionality of a two-quadrant power supply and a regenerative electronic load in a compact 3U form factor. Delivering up to 10000W output power (6000W derated at 208V AC input) with a voltage range of 0-360V and current up to 80A, this autoranging power supply provides a constant power characteristic across a wide operating range. In sink mode, it recovers energy with up to 95.5% efficiency, feeding it back to the grid to reduce energy costs and minimize heat generation, lowering air conditioning requirements. It features ultra-low ripple of ≤55mV RMS (≤320mV pk-pk) and an output capacitance of 786μF, requiring a minimum input voltage of <2.0V for full current in sink mode. Built-in USB, Ethernet, and a galvanically isolated analog interface (0-5V/0-10V, switchable) enable versatile remote control and monitoring. Optional plug-in interface modules support CAN, CANopen, RS232, Profibus, EtherCAT, Profinet (1 or 2 ports), ModBus TCP (1 or 2 ports), and Ethernet (1 or 2 ports) for seamless integration into automated test systems. The integrated function generator allows for complex waveform generation including arbitrary functions, battery testing, PV simulation, fuel cell testing, and MPPT tracking. Comprehensive protections include adjustable OVP, OCP, OPP, and overtemperature shutdown. Up to 64 units can be paralleled via the Master-Slave bus and Share bus for high-power systems up to 960kW. Ideal for battery test equipment, battery simulators, fuel cell test systems, on-board charger testing, battery recycling applications, EOL testing, and State of Health (SOH) checks.
