EA-PSB 11000-80 4U 1000V 80A Programmable Bidirectional DC Power Supply
The EA-PSB 11000-80 4U is a high-performance, 30 kW programmable bidirectional DC power supply from the PSB 10000 series by EA Elektro-Automatik. It ingeniously integrates the functions of a precision bench power supply and a high-power electronic load (sink) into a single 4U rack-mount unit. This bidirectional DC power source and sink features advanced energy recuperating technology, feeding up to 96.5% of the consumed energy back into the AC grid with high efficiency, making it both an economical and eco-friendly solution for high-power testing. With a wide output range of 0-1000V and 0-80A, it is perfectly suited for demanding applications such as solar inverter testing, battery formation and cycling, fuel cell testing, and powering high-voltage DC loads.
This programmable benchtop power supply (PSU) offers exceptional versatility. It operates seamlessly in constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP), and constant resistance (CR) modes. Its built-in function generator enables complex waveform simulation for sine, triangular, rectangular, trapezoidal, and arbitrary profiles. Specialized functions include Photovoltaics (PV) simulation according to EN 50530, Fuel Cell (FC) simulation, Battery Test cycles, and Maximum Power Point (MPP) Tracking, providing a complete test platform for renewable energy and energy storage research and development.
