EA-PSB 10500-90 3U 15kW Bidirectional DC Power Supply (0-500V, 0-90A, Regenerative, 3U)

The EA-PSB 10500-90 3U is a high-performance, programmable bidirectional DC power supply from the EA-PSB 10000 series. It integrates the functions of a bench power supply and a regenerative electronic load into a single 3U rack-mount unit, enabling seamless and lossless energy transfer between source and sink modes with energy recovery back to the grid. Delivering up to 15 kW of output power, this model provides a voltage range of 0-500V and a current range of 0-90A (power limited to 15kW). It is engineered for demanding applications such as battery testing, battery charging, fuel cell simulation, photovoltaic simulation, and automotive testing in compliance with DIN 40839. The unit features a 5" color TFT touch screen for intuitive manual operation, and comes standard with a USB port, Ethernet, and a galvanically isolated analog interface for flexible remote control. With support for parallel operation of up to 64 units to achieve total power up to 960 kW, and an integrated function generator for creating complex sequences (sine, triangular, rectangular, arbitrary, and dedicated PV, fuel cell, and battery test functions per EN 50530), it is an ideal solution for R&D, laboratories, and industrial automation where bidirectional energy flow and high precision are required. The PSB 10500-90 3U operates on a 380-480 V AC three-phase supply (with derating to 9 kW at 208 V) and achieves up to 95.5% efficiency in source mode, with load regulation of ≤0.05% FS for CV and ≤0.1% FS for CC.

• Integrated Advanced Function Generator: Includes a powerful function generator for creating arbitrary waveforms, as well as predefined sequences for PV panel simulation (EN 50530), fuel cell simulation, battery testing (charge/discharge/dynamic), MPP tracking, and DIN 40839 automotive curves.
• Scalable Parallel Operation: Allows true master-slave parallel connection of up to 64 units via Share BUS and digital bus, scaling total system power up to 960 kW with automatic current sharing and summed actual value display on the master.
• Comprehensive Protection & Safety: Features adjustable overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent (OCP), and overpower (OPP) protections, along with overtemperature protection and safety OVP (for models ≤60V). The DC terminal is fully isolated and floating for user safety.
• Intuitive 5" TFT Touch Screen HMI: The graphical user interface with touch screen and two rotary knobs provides clear display of actual and set values (U, I, P, R) for both source and sink modes, quick menu access, and real-time graph plotting of voltage, current, and power.
• USB Host for Data Logging & Import/Export: The front USB port supports data logging of actual values to a USB stick in CSV format, as well as importing and exporting arbitrary waveforms, user profiles, and PV/FC tables.
