The EA-PSB 10500-180 4U is a high-power, programmable bidirectional DC power supply that seamlessly integrates the functions of a laboratory-grade power source (source) and an electronic load (sink) into a single 4U rack-mount unit; as a 30 kW model, it delivers a voltage range of 0-500V and a current range of 0-180A, achieving up to 96.5% efficiency in energy recovery (recuperation) mode to feed energy back into the grid, features built-in function generators for simulating photovoltaic (PV) curves, battery testing, and arbitrary waveforms, supports master-slave parallel operation for scaling up to 64 units (total 1920 kW) with true current sharing via Share bus and Master-Slave bus, offers multiple control interfaces including front-panel HMI with color touchscreen, rear USB, Ethernet, isolated analog (DB15), and optional digital interface modules (CAN, Profibus, Profinet, ModBus TCP, EtherCAT, etc.), ensures safety with comprehensive protections (OVP, OCP, OPP, OT, PF) and meets international safety and EMC standards (EN 61010-1, EN 55011 Class B), and is ideal for applications such as high-power battery testing, power semiconductor testing, renewable energy system simulation (solar, fuel cell), and as a programmable DC power source or electronic load in R&D and production environments.
