The EA-PSB 10080-510 3U is a high-performance programmable bidirectional DC power supply that combines the functionality of a laboratory power supply and an electronic DC load in a single 3U rack-mount unit. With a voltage range of 0-80V, current up to 510A, and power up to 15000W (9000W derated at 208V AC input), this versatile instrument serves as a constant voltage source, constant current source, constant power source, and constant resistance sink. It seamlessly switches between source and sink modes, enabling applications such as battery charge and discharge testing, solar panel simulation, photovoltaic simulator, fuel cell simulator, and automotive test systems. The built-in energy recuperating system feeds energy back into the grid with up to 94.5% efficiency, reducing energy waste and lowering operating costs. Featuring a 5" color TFT touch screen, integrated function generator (sine, triangle, rectangular, arbitrary, and more), and multiple remote interfaces (USB, Ethernet, analog, and optional fieldbus modules), it offers precise control and monitoring. Ripple is ≤10mV rms / ≤100mV pp, and output capacitance is 23970µF. Up to 64 units can be connected in master-slave parallel operation for higher power requirements. Comprehensive protections include OVP, OCP, OPP, and overtemperature shutdown.
