The EA-ELR 10500-180 4U is a high-performance, regenerative electronic load designed for comprehensive testing of various power sources, including bench power supplies, programmable DC power supplies, and other DC outputs. As a solution for how to test a power supply, it offers a wide voltage range of 0-500V and a high current range of 0-180A, capable of sinking up to 30kW of power. It features exceptional energy recovery efficiency of up to 96.5%, feeding regenerated power back into the AC grid to significantly reduce operating costs and heat dissipation. The load operates in multiple modes: constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant power (CP), and constant resistance (CR), providing versatility for diverse testing needs. It includes a built-in function generator with a dedicated DIN 40839 test function for automotive engine start simulation, alongside battery test and MPP tracking capabilities. The unit is equipped with a 5-inch color TFT touch screen for intuitive control and monitoring, and supports remote programming via RS232, USB, Ethernet, analog interface, or optional interface modules.
