The TPS-ICL-1P-16A-SLIM is a high-performance DIN-rail mounted inrush current limiter designed to protect inductive and capacitive loads from excessive starting currents. Unlike simple NTC solutions, it features an integrated bypass relay for reliable operation. This active inrush current limiter circuit limits peak current to 45A for 100-500ms, preventing unintended fuse release and enabling the use of smaller, faster circuit breakers. With a compact slim design, it is ideal for applications including switching mode power supplies (SPS), power factor correction (PFC), AC power side protection, diode bridge protection, and handling large rectifier currents. The device supports 16-12 AWG (1.3-3.3mm) wiring, operates at 230VAC, and meets stringent safety standards including EN62368-1 and EN IEC 61000-3-2.
