EA-PSI 11500-20 3U Programmable DC Power Supply
The EA-PSI 11500-20 3U is a high-performance programmable DC power supply from the EA Elektro Automatik PSI 10000 Series, delivering up to 1500V output voltage, 20A output current, and 10000W output power in a compact 3U 19-inch rack-mountable form factor. With an impressive efficiency of up to 95.5%, this bench power supply is designed for demanding industrial and laboratory applications including battery test equipment, battery charger testing, fuel cell test systems, and photovoltaic inverter evaluation. It features an integrated function generator capable of generating sine, triangle, rectangle, trapezoidal, arbitrary waveforms, DIN 40839 test pulses, IU tables, simple PV (photovoltaics) simulation, fuel cell (FC) table simulation, and extended PV simulation according to EN 50530 compliance—eliminating additional equipment and reducing test setup time. The unit provides precise regulation with load regulation CV ≤0.05% FS, CC ≤0.1% FS, CP ≤0.3% FS, and display accuracy of voltage ≤0.05% FS, current ≤0.1% FS. Built-in remote sensing compensates for voltage drops up to 5% of nominal voltage. Comprehensive protection features include adjustable OVP (0–110% UNom), OCP (0–110% INom), OPP (0–110% PNom), and overtemperature shutdown. For remote control, the programmable power supply is equipped with USB, Ethernet, and a galvanically isolated analog interface (15-pin D-sub), supporting SCPI and ModBus RTU protocols. The master-slave parallel operation via Share BUS and digital master-slave bus allows up to 64 units to be combined, achieving total system power up to 640 kW. The device also features a color TFT touchscreen HMI, USB host for data logging and sequence programming, and a fan-cooled design with front intake and rear exhaust.
