    The EA-EL 9080-170 B 3U is a high-performance programmable electronic DC load from the EA-EL 9000 B Series, designed for laboratory and industrial applications including battery discharge testing, photovoltaic MPP tracking, and fuel cell characterization. This 19-inch rack-mountable unit (3U height) delivers an input voltage range of 0-80 V DC and input current up to 170 A, with a maximum power handling of 2400 W (derated to 1500 W at 21°C ambient and 1200 W at 35°C). It supports four operation modes: constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP), and constant resistance (CR), all controlled by an FPGA-based digital circuit for high precision and fast response. The built-in color TFT touch panel enables intuitive manual operation, while extensive functions include an arbitrary waveform generator, XY table for nonlinear internal resistance simulation, battery test mode with Ah counting, and MPP tracking for solar inverter testing. Safety protections include OVP, OCP, OPP, and OTP.
