EA-BT 20010-400 Triple 4U WC Stainless Steel Water-Cooled Regenerative Battery Tester
The EA-BT 20010-400 Triple 4U WC is a professional triple channel battery tester and 4U rack mount battery tester from the EA-BT 20000 Triple series by EA Elektro-Automatik, equipped with a stainless steel water cooled system for continuous high-load industrial battery testing. As a two quadrant battery tester and bidirectional battery charge discharge tester, it integrates charging and discharging functions, operating as a regenerative energy recovery battery tester that feeds discharge energy back into the grid with up to 90.0% sink/source efficiency, reducing energy consumption and heat generation. It also serves as a programmable dc power supply and programmable dc power source for flexible industrial power applications. This 3 phase AC battery tester features a wide 208 V - 480 V ±10% AC input range, supporting 45-65Hz frequency, with active power factor correction achieving a typical 0.99 power factor and <10mA leakage current, compatible with global industrial power grids. It delivers 3 independent DC channels, each providing 0-10 V DC voltage, 0-400 A current and 0-4000 W power, with a total device power range of 0-12000 W. Each channel offers ultra-low output ripple with ≤25 mV rms (300 kHz bandwidth) and ≤150 mV pp (20 MHz bandwidth), paired with 8460 μF output capacitance per channel and a 0.5 V minimum sink voltage for full current output. The device adopts 18 bit digital regulation with selectable voltage controller speeds, providing ≤0.05% FS voltage measurement accuracy and ≤0.1% FS current measurement accuracy, supporting CV, CC, CP, CR regulation modes with fast crossover. It delivers fast dynamic response with ≤10 ms CV rise/fall time and ≤2 ms CC rise/fall time, meeting the demands of high-speed battery testing. It features 3750 Vrms insulation between AC input and DC terminals, ±1200 V DC channel-to-channel isolation, and all communication interfaces are galvanically isolated, including USB, 1Gbit/s Ethernet, EtherCAT with 1 ms communication speed, CAN FD, and a front USB host for data logging, plus 3 configurable digital inputs, 3 relay outputs and 3 temperature sensor inputs per channel. It supports flexible parallel operation: up to 2 units can be paralleled per channel via Share-Bus and Master-Auxiliary bus, or all 3 channels of a single device can be grouped externally to deliver up to 1200 A total current. Integrated battery test functions include CC-CV discharge characteristics, ampere hour counter, dedicated battery test modes and alarm management, making it suitable as a battery capacity tester, battery cell tester, battery module tester and battery pack tester. It is widely applied in electro mobility battery testing, battery SOH tester for second-life assessment, battery EOL tester and battery recycling tester applications. The stainless steel water cooling system enhances thermal management for prolonged high-current operation, with dimensions of 483 mm (W) x 177 mm (H) x 668 mm (D) and a weight of 56 kg. It has an IP20 ingress protection rating, operates in 0-50 °C ambient temperature (rated power permanently available up to +40 °C), and includes comprehensive protective functions: adjustable OVP (0-110% nominal voltage), OCP (0-110% nominal current), OPP (0-110% nominal power) and overtemperature protection.
