Housed in a 3U form factor, this programmable dc power supply and regenerative battery tester integrates energy recovery technology with up to 96% efficiency, minimizing heat generation and reducing air conditioning costs. It delivers 0-360V output voltage per channel and 0-120A per channel (up to 360A total when channels are paralleled), with a total power of up to 30kW in autoranging mode, ensuring flexible output levels for a wide range of battery cell, module, and pack tests. The device features high precision with 18-bit digital control, fast transition between CV, CC, CP, and CR modes, and selectable control speeds (Normal, Fast, Slow) to optimize test throughput. With 1 ms communication speed via built-in interfaces including Gbit Ethernet, EtherCAT, CAN FD, and ProfiNet, it supports automated test sequences through EA Power Control software and EA Battery Simulator, or direct PLC control using SCPI or ModBus commands.
