EA-PSBE 10060-170 3U 5kW Programmable Bidirectional DC Power Supply
The EA-PSBE 10060-170 3U is a high-performance programmable bidirectional DC power supply from the EA-PSBE 10000 series, integrating the functionality of a two-quadrant power supply and a regenerative electronic load into a single 3U 19-inch rack-mount unit. As a versatile bidirectional DC power supply, it delivers an output voltage from 0 to 60V and an output current from 0 to 170A, with a total DC output power of up to 5000W. This energy recovery power supply features seamless switching between source and sink modes, making it ideal for applications such as battery testing, battery simulation, fuel cell testing, and on-board charger testing. The integrated regenerative function inverts consumed DC energy with up to 94.5% efficiency and feeds it back into the grid via active power-factor-correction (PFC), significantly reducing heat generation and energy costs. The device includes a 5-inch color TFT touch screen for intuitive manual control and offers versatile remote control options via its built-in USB, Ethernet, and galvanically isolated analog interface. An optional plug-in module slot allows for the addition of industrial fieldbus interfaces like Profibus, ProfiNet, ModBus TCP, CANopen, and EtherCAT. It features a comprehensive function generator with sequences for sine, rectangular, triangular, arbitrary waveforms, as well as specialized functions for battery testing (charge/discharge), photovoltaic panel simulation, fuel cell simulation, and MPP tracking. For increased power or current requirements, up to 64 units can be connected in a master-slave parallel configuration, scaling up to 960kW total system power.
