EA-PSB 10750-40 3U Programmable Bidirectional DC Power Supply
The EA-PSB 10750-40 3U is a high-performance programmable bidirectional DC power supply from the PSB 10000 3U series, integrating both a DC power supply and an electronic load into a single compact 3U chassis. This regenerative unit seamlessly switches between source and sink modes with zero delay, making it ideal for applications such as battery charge/discharge testing, photovoltaic (PV) simulation, fuel cell emulation, and industrial power system validation. With an output voltage range of 0–750 V, current up to 40 A, and power up to 10 kW (derated to 6 kW when operating on 208 V AC), it delivers precise power with up to 95.5% efficiency in source mode and energy recovery in sink mode. The device features low ripple (≤200 mV rms, ≤800 mV pp), high stability, and multiple regulation modes: constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP), and constant resistance (CR) for both source and sink operation. An integrated function generator supports sine, triangle, rectangle, trapezoid, arbitrary waveforms, and specialized functions like PV (EN 50530), fuel cell, battery test, and MPP tracking. Standard built-in interfaces include USB, Ethernet, and a galvanically isolated analog interface (0–5 V or 0–10 V selectable). Optional plug-in modules add CAN, CANopen, RS232, Profibus, Profinet, ModBus TCP, or EtherCAT for industrial communication. Up to 64 units can be paralleled in master-slave configuration for higher power systems, with true summing of actual values and active current sharing via Share BUS. Comprehensive protections include OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, and safety OVP (for 60 V models). The 5" color TFT touch screen, rotary knobs, and USB host for data logging provide intuitive manual control and flexible sequence loading.
