EA-PSB 10080-170 3U 5000W Bidirectional DC Power Supply
The EA-PSB 10080-170 3U is a compact, high-performance programmable bidirectional DC power supply from the PSB 10000 3U series, integrating both a 5kW laboratory power supply (source) and an electronic load (sink) into a single 19" 3U chassis. This energy recuperating system delivers a voltage range of 0-80V and a current range of 0-170A, with a maximum power of 5000W. It achieves up to 94.5% efficiency in sink mode, feeding energy back into the grid to save power and reduce heat dissipation. The unit features high-precision regulation with constant voltage (CV) mode offering ≤0.05% load regulation and constant current (CC) mode with ≤0.1% load regulation, along with constant power (CP) and constant resistance (CR) modes, including internal resistance simulation. An advanced built-in function generator provides arbitrary, sine, triangle, and rectangular waveforms, while specialized applications enable solar panel simulation (PV curve), fuel cell simulation, MPP tracking, and comprehensive battery testing (charge/discharge). Standard interfaces include a 5" TFT touch screen, galvanically isolated analog interface, USB (for communication and data logging), and Ethernet (supports ModBus TCP and SCPI). For scalability, up to 64 units can be connected in master-slave parallel operation to achieve higher system power. Remote sensing compensation (≤5% Unom) ensures accurate voltage at the load.
