The EA-PS 10500-180 4U is a high-power, programmable DC power supply designed for demanding industrial testing and R&D applications, such as high-voltage component testing, battery cell and pack testing, and power electronic validation. As part of the robust PS 10000 4U Series, it delivers 30kW of continuous power with an output of 500V and 180A. This bench-top style (rack-mountable) unit operates in multiple modes: constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP), and internal resistance simulation (CR). It features comprehensive protection including overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent (OCP), overpower (OPP), and overtemperature (OT) protection. For system scalability, it supports master-slave parallel operation of up to 64 units via Share BUS and digital MS bus, creating systems with up to 1920kW total power. Remote control and monitoring are enabled through built-in USB and Ethernet ports, an isolated analog interface (0-5V/0-10V), and optional digital interface modules (CAN, Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT, etc.). Additional features include front-panel USB data logging to CSV files, water-cooling option for reduced noise and ambient heat, and compliance with the SEMI F47 standard for ride-through during AC voltage sags.
