    EA-PS 10060-170 3U Programmable DC Power Supply – 60V / 170A / 5000W

    The EA-PS 10060-170 3U is a high-performance programmable DC power supply from the EA-PS 10000 3U series, designed for demanding industrial and laboratory applications. Housed in a 3U 19" rack enclosure, it delivers up to 5000W of continuous output power with an autoranging characteristic that provides maximum flexibility. The unit operates from 0‑60V and 0‑170A, with a resistance range of 0.016‑26Ω. Four operating modes are supported: constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP), and constant resistance (CR).

    With a high efficiency of up to 94.5%, the power supply minimizes energy costs and heat generation. Output ripple is exceptionally low: ≤10 mV RMS and ≤100 mV peak‑to‑peak (20 MHz BW). Load regulation is ≤0.05% FS for CV, and line regulation ≤0.01% FS. The device features a color TFT touch panel with intuitive HMI, two rotary knobs, and a pushbutton for easy manual operation.

    Connectivity includes built‑in galvanically isolated USB and Ethernet ports, a 15‑pin analog interface (0‑5V/0‑10V switchable), and a slot for optional plug‑in interface modules (CAN, CANopen, Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT, ModBus TCP, RS232). Remote sensing compensates for voltage drops up to 5% of nominal voltage. For parallel operation, the unit supports both Share Bus for dynamic current sharing and a digital master‑slave bus (RS485) allowing up to 64 units to be combined for total power up to 960 kW.

    Protection features include adjustable overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent (OCP), overpower (OPP), overtemperature (OT), and power fail (PF). The unit also incorporates a safety OVP (60.6V threshold) for SELV compliance. Cooling is via temperature‑controlled fans, enabling operation from 0‑50°C. Weight is approximately based on model, dimensions 19"×3U×464mm. Remote control supports SCPI and ModBus RTU/TCP; Windows software and LabView VIs are included.
