EA-ELR 10080-60 2U 1500W Programmable Electronic DC Load with Energy Recovery
The EA-ELR 10080-60 2U is a high-performance programmable electronic DC load designed for medium production, testing, and laboratory applications, featuring energy recovery technology to invert consumed DC energy back to the local mains with up to ≤94% efficiency. As a 19" rackmount 2U unit, it saves space while delivering reliable high-power performance—offering a DC input voltage range of 0-80V, a DC current range of 0-60A, and a rated power of 1500W (derated to 1200W when operating at 110-127V AC input). This 2U Programmable DC Load supports four core operating modes: Constant Voltage (CV), Constant Current (CC), Constant Power (CP), and Constant Resistance (CR), enabling flexible testing of DC power supplies, batteries, and other DC sources.
Equipped with a built-in function generator, the EA-ELR 10080-60 2U can generate sine, triangular, rectangular, trapezoidal, and arbitrary waveforms (up to 99 points) for dynamic testing. It also includes specialized functions like battery test (for 0-80V/0-60A battery discharge testing) and MPP (Maximum Power Point) tracking (for solar module testing), making it ideal as a 0-80V Battery Test DC Load, 0-80V Power Supply Test DC Load, 0-60A Battery Test DC Load, and 0-60A Power Supply Test DC Load.
For remote control and monitoring, the unit comes with galvanically isolated interfaces: rear USB (for firmware updates and ModBus RTU/SCPI communication), Ethernet (100 MBit, supports HTTP and TCP/IP), and a 15-pole D-sub analog interface (0-5V/0-10V signal range). It also supports master-slave (MS) parallel operation via Master-Slave bus and Share bus, allowing up to 64 units to be combined for scalable power systems. Comprehensive safety protections include Overvoltage Protection (OVP, 0-110% U Nominal), Overcurrent Protection (OCP, 0-110% I Nominal), Overpower Protection (OPP, 0-110% P Nominal), and Overtemperature Protection (OT), ensuring device and test sample safety.
The EA-ELR 10080-60 2U features forced air cooling (front inlet to rear outlet) with temperature-controlled fans, operates in an ambient temperature range of 0-50°C (32-122°F), and meets international safety standards (EN 61010-1, IEC 61010-1, UL 61010-1) and EMC standards (EN 55011 Class B, CISPR 11 Class B).
