The TPS-ICL-3P-16A is a robust DIN rail-mounted, three-phase AC-inrush current limiter engineered for 400VAC industrial systems. With a 16A rated current per phase, it effectively suppresses high inrush currents by limiting peaks to 45A for 100-500ms, preventing nuisance fuse tripping and enabling the use of more compact, faster-acting circuit breakers. Unlike basic NTC solutions, it incorporates an integrated bypass relay for reliable post-startup operation. The device features screw terminals compatible with AWG13-11 (2.6-4.2mm²) wiring, operates within a 40°C to 70°C temperature range using convection cooling, and complies with EN60950-1 safety standards and EN61000-6-2,3 EMC directives, carrying CE and RoHS certifications. Boasting a high MTBF of 300,000 hours, it is ideally suited for protecting motors, transformers, and other three-phase inductive/capacitive loads from damaging inrush currents.
