The EA-PSB 10080-1000 4U is a high-power, programmable bidirectional DC power supply that integrates the functions of a precision laboratory power source and a regenerative electronic load into a single 4U rack-mount unit. As part of the versatile EA-PSB 10000 4U series, this 30 kW model delivers 0-80V and 0-1000A, making it ideal for demanding applications like high-current battery testing, photovoltaic panel simulation, fuel cell testing, and power aging. Its defining feature is bidirectional energy flow with up to 95.5% efficiency in energy recovery (sink mode), feeding regenerated power back into the AC grid to reduce operating costs and heat dissipation. The unit offers seamless, automatic switching between source and sink modes at the zero-crossing point. Equipped with a color TFT touchscreen (HMI), two programmable rotary knobs, and extensive remote control interfaces (USB, Ethernet, analog, optional digital modules), it provides unparalleled control flexibility. - Comprehensive Safety & Protection: Includes adjustable over-voltage (OVP), over-current (OCP), over-power (OPP) protections, overtemperature (OT) shutdown, and power fail (PF) monitoring. The 60V model includes a dedicated Safety OVP for SELV/PELV compliance.
- Flexible Data Logging & Profiles: Front USB port supports data logging to USB stick and loading/saving of user profiles, arbitrary function sequences, and PV/FC/IU tables for test automation and repeatability.
