EA-ELR 11000-30 3U 10000W Programmable DC Electronic Load with Energy Recovery
The EA-ELR 11000-30 3U is an industrial-grade programmable DC electronic load designed for testing dc power supplies, 24v power supply units, and programmable power supply systems. As a 19" Rack 3U DC Load, it combines space-saving 3U rackmount design with high-performance energy recovery technology—converting consumed DC energy back to the local mains with an efficiency of up to 95.5%, reducing energy waste in production and laboratory environments. This 10000W DC Electronic Load supports a wide DC input range: 0-1000V voltage and 0-30A current, with a rated power of 10000W (derated to 6000W when operating at 208V AC input), making it suitable for testing high-voltage, medium-current power sources.
Equipped with four core operating modes—Constant Voltage (CV), Constant Current (CC), Constant Power (CP), and Constant Resistance (CR)—the EA-ELR 11000-30 3U offers programmable flexibility for diverse testing scenarios. Its Voltage Autoranging DC Load capability (via CP mode) automatically adjusts current based on voltage to maintain constant power, ideal for simulating dynamic load conditions. For control, it supports 0-5V Analogue Control DC Load and 0-10V Analogue Control DC Load via a galvanically isolated 15-pole D-sub interface, plus digital interfaces including Profibus DC Load, Modbus DC Load, and optional CANopen/EtherCAT (via IF-AB modules) for seamless integration into industrial automation systems.
As a Function Generator DC Load, it includes a built-in function generator to create sine, triangular, rectangular, trapezoidal, and arbitrary waveforms (up to 99 points) for dynamic load testing. It also features Solar Panel MPP DC Load functionality, simulating maximum power point (MPP) tracking behavior of solar inverters to test solar panels. Compliant with global safety standards, the EA-ELR 11000-30 3U is a UL Certified DC Load and UKCA Approved DC Load (meeting EN 61010-1, UL 61010-1, and CSA C22.2 No 61010-1), with comprehensive protections: Overvoltage (OVP), Overcurrent (OCP), Overpower (OPP), and Overtemperature (OT) to ensure device and test sample safety. It uses forced air cooling (front inlet to rear outlet) with temperature-controlled fans, operating reliably in 0-50°C (32-122°F) ambient temperatures.
