EA-BT 20200-140 Triple 4U WC Stainless Steel Water-Cooled High-Voltage Regenerative Battery Tester
The EA-BT 20200-140 Triple 4U WC is a professional triple channel water cooled battery tester and 4U water cooled battery tester from the EA-BT 20000 Triple series by EA Elektro-Automatik, equipped with a stainless steel water cooling system for uninterrupted high-load high-voltage industrial battery testing. As a two quadrant battery tester and bidirectional battery charge discharge tester, it integrates full charging and discharging capabilities, operating as a regenerative energy recovery battery tester and grid energy recovery battery tester that feeds discharge energy back into the grid with up to 95.1% sink/source efficiency, drastically reducing energy consumption and heat generation. It also serves as a programmable dc power supply and programmable dc power source for flexible industrial power applications. This high voltage battery tester features a wide 208 V - 480 V ±10% 3-phase AC input range, supporting 45-65Hz frequency, with active power factor correction achieving a typical 0.99 power factor and <10mA leakage current, compatible with all major global industrial power grids. When operating on 208 V ±10% AC, it automatically derates to 18000 W total DC output power. It delivers 3 independent, galvanically isolated DC channels, each providing 0-200 V DC voltage, 0-140 A current and 0-10000 W power, with a total device power range of 0-30000 W. Each channel offers low output ripple with ≤40 mV rms (300 kHz bandwidth) and ≤300 mV pp (20 MHz bandwidth), paired with 1800 μF output capacitance per channel and a 1.8 V minimum sink voltage for full current output. The device adopts 18 bit digital regulation with selectable voltage controller speeds (normal, fast, slow), providing ≤0.05% FS voltage measurement accuracy and ≤0.1% FS current measurement accuracy, supporting CV, CC, CP, CR regulation modes with fast crossover for precise battery testing. It delivers fast dynamic response with ≤10 ms CV rise/fall time and ≤2 ms CC rise/fall time, adapting to rapid changes in battery testing conditions. It features 3750 Vrms insulation between AC input and DC terminals, ±1000 V DC negative pole to PE insulation, +1000 V DC positive pole to PE insulation and ±2000 V DC channel-to-channel isolation, with all communication interfaces galvanically isolated from the DC side for safe operation. Standard interfaces include USB, 1Gbit/s Ethernet, EtherCAT with 1 ms communication speed, CAN FD, and a front USB host for data logging and sequencing, plus 3 configurable digital inputs, 3 relay outputs and 3 temperature sensor inputs per channel. It supports flexible parallel operation: up to 2 units can be paralleled per channel via Share-Bus and Master-Auxiliary bus, or all 3 channels of a single device can be grouped externally as a parallel channel battery tester to deliver up to 420 A total current. Integrated battery test functions include CC-CV discharge characteristics, ampere hour counter, dedicated battery test modes and comprehensive alarm management, making it suitable as a battery capacity tester, battery module tester, battery pack tester, battery SOH tester and battery EOL tester. It is widely applied in electro mobility battery testing and battery recycling tester applications. The stainless steel water cooling system eliminates fan noise and provides superior thermal management for prolonged high-voltage high-current operation, with dimensions of 483 mm (W) x 177 mm (H) x 668 mm (D) and a weight of 56 kg. It has an IP20 ingress protection rating, operates in 0-50 °C ambient temperature (rated power is permanently available up to approximately +40 °C), and includes comprehensive protective functions: adjustable OVP (0-110% nominal voltage), OCP (0-110% nominal current), OPP (0-110% nominal power) and overtemperature protection. It complies with EN 61010-1, IEC 61010-1, UL 61010-1 safety standards and EN 55011 Class A EMC requirements.
