Product Description
EA-ELR 10360-120 3U Programmable Electronic DC Load with Energy Recovery
The EA-ELR 10360-120 3U is a 15 kW regenerative electronic DC load from the high-performance ELR 10000 Series, engineered for rigorous testing of DC power sources, batteries, and power semiconductors in laboratory and industrial settings. This model operates over a wide voltage range of 0 to 360V and can sink currents up to 120A, with a maximum power handling of 15,000W (derated to 9,000W when operating on a 208V AC supply). Its defining characteristic is the advanced energy recovery system, which inverses up to 95.5% of the absorbed DC power and feeds it back into the AC grid with high efficiency, dramatically reducing energy costs and heat dissipation. The unit is controlled via a intuitive 5-inch color TFT touchscreen and features a comprehensive integrated function generator capable of producing sine, triangle, rectangle, trapezoid, and arbitrary waveforms, as well as specialized functions for battery testing and MPP (Maximum Power Point) tracking for solar panel characterization. For system integration and automation, it comes standard with USB, Ethernet, and a galvanically isolated analog interface, with an optional slot for adding digital bus modules like CAN, Profibus, or ModBus TCP. Supporting master-slave parallel operation for systems up to 960 kW, and equipped with robust protection features including OVP, OCP, OPP, and OT, the EA-ELR 10360-120 3U offers a powerful, efficient, and versatile solution for high-power testing applications.
Key Features
