EA-EL 9750-40 B 3U Programmable Electronic DC Load – 750V / 40A / 2400W
The EA-EL 9750-40 B 3U is a high-voltage programmable electronic DC load from the EA-EL 9000 B series, delivering 2400W continuous power with no derating up to 35°C. Housed in a 3U 19" rack enclosure, it operates from 0‑750V DC and 0‑40A DC, with a resistance range of 1.75‑550Ω. Four operating modes are supported: constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant power (CP), and constant resistance (CR). Voltage accuracy is ≤0.1%, current accuracy ≤0.2%, power accuracy ≤0.5%, and resistance accuracy ≤1% of max. resistance + 0.3% of rated current. Load regulation is ≤0.1%, and rise time from 10‑90% is ≤50µs.
An FPGA-based digital control circuit enables advanced functions including an arbitrary waveform generator, a table-based XY function for simulating nonlinear internal resistances, battery discharge testing (with elapsed time and Ah recording to USB), and MPP tracking for photovoltaic applications—featuring four simulation modes and a 100-point irradiation table for detailed solar inverter analysis. These capabilities help reduce test setup time, simulate real-world conditions, generate complex test sequences, and protect the device under test from overvoltage damage via adjustable OVP, OCP, OPP protections.
Manual operation is via a color TFT touch panel with multilingual support (EN, DE, RU, CN). Connectivity includes galvanically isolated USB and analog interfaces (0‑5V/0‑10V switchable), plus a slot for pluggable fieldbus modules (CAN, CANopen, Ethernet, EtherCAT, Profibus, Profinet, RS232, ModBus TCP). Rear panel terminals provide DC input (screw terminal), remote sense, Share Bus for parallel/two-quadrant operation with EA power supplies, and master‑slave bus (2x RJ45) for multi-unit synchronization up to 72kW in cabinets.
Cooling is managed by temperature‑controlled fans, enabling operation in ambient temperatures from 0‑50°C with non‑condensing humidity ≤80%. Weight is 13kg, dimensions 19"×3U×464mm. Remote control is supported via SCPI and ModBus RTU/TCP command sets; Windows‑based control software and LabView VIs are included. An optional license unlocks the Multi Control application for monitoring and controlling up to 20 units simultaneously, with sequencing and data logging capabilities.
