EA-EL 9360-80 B 3U Programmable Electronic DC Load – 3600W / 360V / 80A
The EA-EL 9360-80 B 3U is a high-performance programmable electronic DC load from the EA Elektro-Automatik EL 9000 B Series, designed for demanding laboratory and industrial applications. With a maximum input power of 3600W (derated to 3000W at 21°C and 2400W at 35°C), this 3U-high 19-inch rack-mount unit handles voltages from 0 to 360V and currents up to 80A. Its FPGA-based digital control circuit enables four operation modes: constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant power (CP), and constant resistance (CR), along with an extensive function generator for arbitrary waveforms and an XY table to simulate nonlinear internal resistance. Built-in protections (OVP, OCP, OPP, OT) and a multilingual color TFT touch panel ensure safe and intuitive manual operation. The device is ideal for testing DC power supplies (including 27V models, bench power supplies, and programmable DC sources), battery discharge testing (constant current or constant resistance), photovoltaic MPP tracking, fuel cell evaluation, and more. It features galvanically isolated analog and USB interfaces, a master-slave bus for parallel connection, and a slot for optional industrial fieldbus modules (CAN, Ethernet, Profibus, etc.). With temperature-controlled fans, high accuracy (voltage ≤0.1%, current ≤0.2%, power ≤0.5%), and a rise time ≤50 µs, this load delivers reliable performance for both R&D and production test systems, reducing test setup time through its versatile built-in functions.
