The EA-EL 9080-340 B 3U is a high-power programmable electronic DC load from the EA-EL 9000 B Series, designed for demanding industrial and laboratory applications such as battery discharge testing, photovoltaic MPP tracking, and fuel cell characterization. This 19-inch rack-mountable unit (3U height) offers an input voltage range of 0-80 V DC and input current up to 340 A, with a maximum power handling of 4800 W (derated to 3000 W at 21°C ambient and 2400 W at 35°C). It supports four operation modes: constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP), and constant resistance (CR), all controlled by an FPGA-based digital circuit for high precision and fast transient response. The built-in color TFT touch panel enables intuitive manual operation, while advanced functions include an arbitrary waveform generator, XY table for nonlinear internal resistance simulation, battery test mode with Ah counting, and MPP tracking for solar inverter testing. Safety protections include adjustable OVP, OCP, OPP, and OTP.
