EA-PSBE 10500-90 3U Programmable Bidirectional DC Power Supply
The EA-PSBE 10500-90 3U is a high-performance programmable bidirectional DC power supply from the EA-PSBE 10000 3U series, delivering 15 kW of output power with regenerative energy recovery. As a two-quadrant device, it seamlessly combines the functions of a DC power supply and an electronic load, feeding energy back into the grid with up to 95.5% efficiency, reducing energy costs and minimizing heat generation. It offers an output voltage range of 0-500 V and a current range of 0-90 A, with full power available across a wide operating range thanks to autoranging technology and constant power characteristic. The unit features low ripple: ≤70 mV rms (300 kHz BW) and ≤350 mV p-p (20 MHz BW), with a minimum voltage for maximum sink current below 2.2 V. Output capacitance is 540 μF, and display accuracy is ≤0.05% FS for voltage and ≤0.1% FS for current. The device accepts a wide three-phase AC input from 208 V to 480 V ±10% (with derating at 208 V), includes active PFC (typical 0.99), and operates at 45-66 Hz. It supports multiple regulation modes: CV, CC, CP, and CR with fast crossover, and selectable control speed (Normal, Fast, Slow) via 16-bit ADCs/DACs. Protections include adjustable OVP, OCP, OPP, and overtemperature shutdown. Built-in galvanically isolated interfaces comprise USB, Ethernet (100 MBit), USB Host for data logging, and a 15-pin D-Sub analog interface (0-5 V/0-10 V programmable). Optional fieldbus modules (CAN, CANopen, RS232, Profibus, EtherCAT, Profinet, Modbus) are available via Plug & Play slot. The Master-Slave bus and Share-Bus allow parallel operation of up to 64 units of any power class in the 10000 series, enabling scalable systems up to 1920 kW. The 5" color TFT touch display with intuitive interface and rotary knobs ensures easy operation. Ideal for battery testing, battery simulation, fuel cell testing, on-board charger testing, and battery recycling applications, it meets rigorous demands with features like State of Health check, EOL test, and energy recovery solutions.
