EA-PSBE 10360-40 3U Programmable Bidirectional DC Power Supply 5kW 360V 40A
The EA-PSBE 10360-40 3U is a high-density programmable bidirectional DC power supply from the EA-PSBE 10000 3U Series, integrating both source and sink functions with regenerative energy recovery. Delivering up to 5000W output power (3000W derated at 208V AC input) with a voltage range of 0-360V and current up to 40A, this two-quadrant power supply achieves up to 95.5% efficiency in sink mode, feeding energy back to the grid to significantly reduce energy costs and cooling requirements. The autoranging output characteristic provides full power across a wide operating range, while ultra-low ripple of ≤55mV RMS (≤320mV pk-pk) ensures clean power for sensitive tests. It features a 393μF output capacitance and requires a minimum input voltage of 2V for full current in sink mode. Built-in USB, Ethernet, and galvanically isolated analog interface (0-5V/0-10V) enable versatile remote control, with optional plug-in modules for CANopen, Profibus, Profinet, ModBus TCP, and EtherCAT for industrial automation. The integrated function generator supports sine, triangle, rectangle, arbitrary waveforms, battery testing, PV simulation (EN50530), fuel cell simulation, and MPPT tracking. Comprehensive protections include adjustable OVP, OCP, OPP, and overtemperature shutdown. Up to 64 units can be paralleled via Master-Slave or Share bus for higher power systems with true current sharing. Ideal for battery test systems, fuel cell test equipment, on-board charger testing, state of health testing, and energy recycling applications.
