EA-PSB 10750-60 3U Programmable Bidirectional DC Power Supply
The EA-PSB 10750-60 3U is a high-performance programmable bidirectional DC power supply from the PSB 10000 3U series, combining a regenerative DC source and an electronic DC load in a compact 3U chassis. Designed for seamless grid-tied operation, it automatically switches between source mode and sink mode with zero delay, recovering up to 95.5% of energy back to the AC grid. With a voltage range of 0–750 V, current up to 60 A, and power up to 15 kW (derated to 9 kW when operating on 208 V AC), this unit delivers precise power for demanding applications such as battery testing, solar panel simulation (PV simulation), and industrial power system validation. It features low output ripple (≤200 mV rms, ≤800 mV pp), high stability, and supports multiple regulation modes: constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP), and constant resistance (CR) in both source and sink modes.
The built-in function generator offers sine, triangle, rectangle, trapezoid, arbitrary waveform generation, and specialized functions like PV simulation (EN 50530), fuel cell emulation, battery test, and MPP tracking. Sequences and profiles can be loaded or saved via the front USB host. Manual control is intuitive via a 5" color TFT touch screen and two rotary knobs, while remote sensing compensates for voltage drops on DC cables. Standard interfaces include USB, Ethernet, and a galvanically isolated analog interface (0–5 V or 0–10 V selectable). Optional plug-in modules add CAN, CANopen, RS232, Profibus, Profinet, ModBus TCP, or EtherCAT for versatile digital interface control.
For higher power requirements, up to 64 units can be paralleled in a master-slave system using the digital master-slave bus and Share BUS, enabling total power up to 960 kW with true summing of actual values and active current sharing.
