The EA-EL 9200-18 DT is a compact and versatile 500W benchtop electronic DC load from the EA-EL 9000 DT series, designed for daily use in laboratories, schools, and workshops. It features a wide input range of 0-200V and 0-18A, supporting four essential regulation modes: constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP), and constant resistance (CR). At its core is a fast microprocessor enabling a true built-in function generator capable of producing standard waveforms like sine, rectangle, and triangle, as well as complex arbitrary functions for advanced testing scenarios. Operation is intuitive via a multilingual color TFT touch panel, complemented by rotary knobs and a pushbutton for easy manual control.
This model excels in specialized applications such as battery testing, offering capacity (Ah) and energy (Wh) measurement with configurable stop conditions, and photovoltaic testing with integrated Maximum Power Point (MPP) tracking functionality to analyze solar panel characteristics. For reliability, it includes adjustable overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent (OCP), and overpower (OPP) protections, along with thermal derating to maintain safe operation. Standard connectivity includes galvanically isolated USB, Ethernet, and analog interfaces, facilitating seamless remote control via SCPI commands, ModBus RTU, or the included EA Power Control software for Windows, which supports sequencing and multi-unit control.
